Discover the wonderful wildlife that lives in Frederick County. View live animals up close and personal and learn about how animals become endangered or possibly extinct. Scouts will create their own wildlife poster.

American Indian Life

Explore the life of the Piscataway Indian tribe. Through activities and games, learn about their clothing, lifestyle, diet, and tools. Discover the differences between modern and historic shelters and create a model to take home. (Fountain Rock Park & Nature Center Only)

Learn how to make oatmeal cookies, make snack for the next den meeting, and prepare one part of your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make a list of “junk food” and talk about why they are not good for you. Make trail food for a hike, make dessert.
