First Grade Field Trip

Program Description
Living Organisms
Students will have the chance to compare and classify organisms by their external features and discuss how these adaptations help the organisms survive.  Learn about food chains, diets, adaptations, habitat, and environmental changes through discussion and activities.  And, of course, meet “Rocky” the Rock to better understand the concept of living vs. nonliving organisms. Includes exploratory walk and outdoor activity, weather permitting.
