On the historic lawn of Rose Hill Manor, Cub Scouts will learn to set up and play croquet and other games that will challenge them to work as a team.

Fur, Feathers, and Ferns
Exploring the world of mammals, birds, plants and more. You will learn more about where wild creatures live and you will do your part to help them. You will practice Outdoor Code by showing ways to be considerate in the outdoors. So grab your binoculars and start exploring the natural words. (ALL requirements will be completed, 1-5)
A Bear Goes Fishing
Grizzly bears in the wild use their fishing skills to catch good nutritious food. Fishing is a skill that can become a lifelong hobby, or possibly a career. It can be done alone, or with family or friends. (SPRING ONLY, ALL requirements will be completed, 1-3 optional 4 as well)
Beat of the Drum
Scouts will have the opportunity to learn about American Indians and their customs, including crafts, ceremonies, music, and dance. (Requirements 1-3 will be completed, 4 has to be completed elsewhere)
Ballenger Creek Community Building-Teaching Kitchen
What’s Cooking
Learn how to make oatmeal cookies, make a snack for the next den meeting, and prepare one part of your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make a list of “junk food” and talk about why they are not good for you. Make trail food for a hike, make dessert.
