Our synthetic fields are open at various times during the week in order to provide opportunities for the community to enjoy these facilities. Players of all abilities and levels are welcome for drop-in programs. There is no formal instruction . Parks and Rec staff will monitor drop-in programs. No organized team practices.
Any participant in violation of the Code of Conduct and/or facility rules may be asked to leave by the staff member. Please review the Code of Conduct before participating in any drop in programs with Frederick County Parks and Recreation.
All ages are welcome. Children under 13 years of age must be supervised by an adult.
There is no cost for participation in the Synthetic Field Drop-In programs.
In an effort to provide some informal, use of athletic fields by individuals and families, the Division of Parks and Recreation has provided designated time on our fields open to the community. This access will provide for informal play at these facilities on a first come, first served basis. This is an effort to balance the needs of the community for informal use of athletic fields as well as continuing to provide opportunities for organized play. These fields are not intended for organized athletic groups during the times listed below.
