Skate Spot and Pump Track
Welcome to the Middletown Park Skate Spot and Pump Track, Frederick County's newest hub for dynamic, family-friendly outdoor recreation! This 13,538-square-foot multi-use space is designed for skaters and riders of all skill levels, offering a blend of challenging features for skateboarders and a unique pump track experience.
Located in Middletown Park, the skate spot is the result of a community-driven vision to provide low-cost, accessible recreation opportunities for youth and teens. Whether you're perfecting your skills, connecting with friends, or enjoying the excitement of the park, this skate spot is a welcoming space for all to have fun and stay active.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on December 3, 2024, marking the official opening of this exciting new space. As part of our commitment to ongoing improvements, Spohn Ranch will be addressing a drainage issue in spring 2025 to enhance the site conditions and ensure a better experience for all visitors.
