Community Grant Annual Timeline
The timeline details the annual grant schedule for the Fiscal Year (July 1 through June 30). This timeline serves as a comprehensive roadmap outlining the deadlines for the grant application and award process during this fiscal year. This can be used as tool for both grant applicants and administrators providing clear framework for planning, executing, and managing grant-related activities over the life of the award cycle.
Grant Program Timeline
June – Mid-August
- Application becomes available
August – September
- Project site visits and application reviews
October
- Preliminary funding decisions provided to applicants
November
- Final notice of grant awards anticipated
- Disbursements processed approximately 45 days after receiving the signed Grant Agreement
Within 2 Years of Award
- Projects must be completed and all reports submitted
- All deliverables due by June 30 of the second fiscal year following the award
July – September (After Reports Are Submitted)
- Grant project closeout
- Frederick County Parks and Recreation staff will inspect the project and process closeout
