Out on the Town Social Group

Out on the Town Social Group offers participants ages 16+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to build social connections, strengthen communication skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences in the community. Each outing brings a new opportunity to engage with peers, explore local activities, and practice real-world social interaction in a supportive and structured setting.

Essential Eligibility

This program is designed for participants in Program Levels 1–3. Participants must be able to:

  • Provide personal care with the support of a caregiver who remains onsite.
  • Actively participate in a small group setting with a 1:4 instructor-to-participant ratio.
  • Navigate hard, flat surfaces with assistance from an onsite caregiver.
  • Participants will stay with the group at all times under continuous supervision.

Registration

Advanced registration is required. Registrations will not be accepted at the door, and drop-ins are not permitted.
