Alcohol Permit

To help keep our parks safe and enjoyable for everyone, Frederick County code prohibits possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages on county parkland except in accordance with the Alcohol Use Policy and with valid permit issued by the Division Director.


Before filling out the application below, please have ready:

  • Your approved reservation permit.  The alcohol permit must match the approved reservation permit to be approved.
  • A jpg, png, or pdf copy of your Driver's License or Identification Card (front and back)

* Updated price effective for all reservation dates starting 7/1/2026 and following.

You may also apply in person

If you wish to apply in person, our office is located at 355 Montevue Lane, Suite 100, Frederick, MD 21702.  Applying in person permits you to pay by card, check, or cash during business hours, 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday - Friday.  

Applicant must have the approved Alcohol Permit with them the day of the reservation.
