Recreation Councils

The Recreation Councils are separate, individual, and independent legal entities. They are recognized as such by the Internal Revenue Service. There is no legal relationship between Frederick County, Maryland and the Recreation Councils, other than the cooperation to assist the Recreation Councils in their provision of recreational services.

Volunteers

Councils consist of volunteers who coordinate special events, sports leagues, recreation programs, and more. These non-profit groups are made up of caring citizens like you. Recreation Councils can always use your helping hand.
